My Story
I have always been a great baker and enjoyed making various cakes for dessert and family gatherings. However, I was not a cake decorator. That all changed in 2012. My niece approached me and asked if I'd make her a birthday cake. Not only did she want me to bake it but she also wanted me to decorate it. I was extremely hesitant to try decorating a cake and was unsure if it was something I'd enjoy. Seeing how I felt, my niece reminded me how artistic I was and how I didn't back down to challenge. She was correct but I still kept evading the topic. You see baking was always a hobby and my former profession was in corporate accounting. However my niece was persistent and eventually, I agreed to not only bake her cake but also decorate it. I started watching videos online, purchased a basic cake decorating book and my cake decorating journey began! I proudly served the Charlotte Metro in North Carolina for nine years.

In 2021 during the COVID pandemic, I made a life-changing decision and relocated to the Tampa Bay area. After the pandemic ended, I began preparing to start a new cottage bakery in my new city and in January 2023, More Cake Plz was born.
